COSPAS SARSAT Joint Committee, 2014

In order to strengthen cooperation between countries that are members of the COSPAS SARSAT membership, the Joint Committee Meeting held COSPAS SARSAT 28th Indonesia had the honor to be the host, and in this case Basarnas (National SAR Agency) designated as the event organizer. Meeting which lasted for 10 days, aims to exchange information on the activities of COSPAS SARSAT through public policy discussions, presentations, updates and reviews / panels for the technical sessions. Besides aiming to exchange experiences and technical assistance, through this event is also intended to establish the effectiveness of the performance of the SAR in order to strengthen coordination and cooperation with other countries if an accident occurs while in cross-border.
